I read something recently that inspired me to start writing more frequently. To my surprise, it’s been oddly therapeutic. I’ve felt for a long time that it’s increasingly difficult to give my thoughts and feelings the room they need to take shape and grow.
Our thoughts (especially mine) are
chaotic and often unclear. Writing has helped me give my thoughts more structure and intention. Almost like a meditation of sorts.
Considering how distracted we are in this “always-on” world we live in, there is a certain calm in being able to sit alone with your thoughts and creating internal dialogue.
You can’t find your voice if you don’t talk. I think this applies to writing also.
